Obtaining a Driving Licence C+E
Driving licence C+E is the most comprehensive HGV license you can get. This licence allows you to drive an HGV equipped with trailers or semi-trailers weighing more than 750 kg.
The instruction for Category CE is an obvious progression from the course leading to Category C. It includes driving on roads with various traffic densities and on training tracks.
Requirements
A driving license is a valid document that shows that the driver has met all legal requirements for driving. These requirements vary from country to country, but most include passing the test and not having a history of traffic violations. The tests are usually divided into practice and theory however there are a few exceptions to this rule. The first step towards obtaining the license is to take an instruction in driving, and pass the theory test. The driver must be physically fit to drive, and certain countries require evidence of this, such as an examination for medical reasons.
The next step is to obtain the Category C licence, or the driver's license for cars. This allows you to drive passenger vehicles, trucks, and trailers up to 7.5 tonnes. If you already have an Cat C licence, you can upgrade to a Category C + E licence, which allows you to drive articulated heavy goods vehicles with a maximum weight of 44 tonnes.
To obtain a Category C licence, you must be 21 years old. This is the minimum age requirement. However, you might be able obtain one earlier if you've already completed or are currently in the training for the Driver Certificate of Professional Competence. You must also have an active driver's license in your car in order to qualify for a category C+E license.
The C+E category is the most expensive available hgv license. The C+E license combines the categories of C and E and is the most comprehensive HGV license available. You must possess a Category C licence in order to qualify for the C+E license, and you must also be able to pass an exam for medical clearance and a driving test.
In addition to passing the practical and theory driving exams, you must have a medical checkup and eye exam. The medical examiner will look for diseases such as diabetes and heart disease, and also for other ailments. You must also be mentally fit to operate a vehicle and you should have no prior history of addiction to drugs. If you have a mental health problem, the DVLA will consider your application on a case-by-case basis.
Training
You can learn how to drive a truck on the job. Many companies offer full driver training programs. They offer instruction on how to drive rigid and articulated heavy-duty vehicles up to 32 tons. The training is comprised of classroom instruction and driving tests. The driving test typically lasts about 1.5 hours and involves following the pre-determined route. The examiner will notify you of any instructions or diversions.
After the course is completed, the student is issued a learner's license (LL) that is valid for six months. The LL permits people to drive on public roads as long they have a licensed driver with them. Driving without a certified instructor is considered a crime.
The student will be awarded an official certificate following the completion of the training at an approved driving academy. This certificate should be presented to the VIO when applying for a driver's license. The VIO will conduct a driving exam to verify that the applicant is able to operate a category C+E vehicle.

The VIO will issue the permanent license after the driving test has been passed. The license will include details about the driver, including his name, father's name, date of birth, address, vehicle types, emergency contact information, blood group, fingerprint impression and photograph. The driver must also pass an exam to be able to get a license.
The license is valid every three years. It is usually supplemented with a document called"vremennoe razreshenie" "vremennoe razreshenie". This document is proof that a driver has passed a medical exam to prove that he's fit enough to drive. A driver must also attend first aid classes to be prepared for possible accidents on the road. Depending on where you live the driver might need to obtain an additional endorsement in order to drive in passenger vehicles. These endorsements are known as commercial drivers' licenses (CDL). They are typically required for drivers who need to transport hazardous materials.
Exams
A written exam and driving test are required to get your license c+e. The written test consists of 20 questions and you must be able to answer at least 14 out of them. The questions are based on information found in Chapters 4 to 11 of the NYS Driver's Manual. To prepare for the test, study the manual and take practice tests. It is crucial to take your time during the test and to not rush through the questions.
The driving exam consists of an exercise in basic vehicle control skills, slope starting (for manual transmission vehicles) back-up, and an obstacle course. The examiner will also assess your ability to respond quickly to roadside emergencies. The examiner will also confirm that you are properly insured for your vehicle. An extensive job analysis is completed prior to the development of every exam. The job analysis includes watching incumbents, conducting surveys, interviewing, and analyzing current documentation. A committee composed of Subject Matter Experts (SME's) is set up to review the job analysis and formulate the exam questions. They are well-trained in question writing techniques and are well-versed in the knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform the task in a professional manner.
The oral and written tests are designed to be as similar to real life as possible. Examiners are able to deny your license in certain situations. This includes: when you drove in a reckless manner during the test and/or were involved in a crash; or if you broke any traffic rules, laws or regulations; or in the event that your vehicle was unsafe. In these instances, you will have to retake the test and pay additional costs.
Medical exam
To be able to drive a truck in the EU it is necessary to undergo an examination for medical reasons. This is conducted by a licensed doctor who examines the health of the driver and also their eyesight. Medical certificates allow the driver to get a C+E driving licence, valid for five years. After this, the licence can be renewed annually.

kartaxpresspoland questioned the use of the term "not-certified." The final rule uses the term "not-certified" to make clear that a CDL owner does not have medical qualifications. This also makes it clear that the driver isn't being denied driving privileges because of any adverse actions taken by FMCSA. The final rule requires that the State-designated licensing authority (SDLA) publish the medical certification status of a CDL holders on their CDLIS driver record. This will stop false and fraudulent claims that the CDL holder is medically qualified, when in reality, they aren't. To further prevent fraud and fraud, the SDLA must include the contact information of the ME who performed a medical exam in the driver's file. This requirement will continue to be in force until FMCSA releases an updated rule to deal with this issue. Motor carriers can continue to keep a copy of the original or duplicate of the ME's certificate as proof that a driver is medical qualifications, as they can prove that the certificate was issued on the date it was issued by the ME.
